Role Description The Part Time Social Media Account Manager will manage daily social media activities for assigned client accounts in a remote work environment. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling content, coordinating with creators and clients, and ensuring posts are aligned with each client’s brand voice and objectives. The role involves monitoring engagement and performance metrics, responding to comments and messages when needed, and suggesting optimizations to improve reach and audience interaction. The Social Media Account Manager will also assist in content briefing, light copywriting for captions, and maintaining organized calendars and workflows across multiple platforms. This part time role offers flexible hours while requiring consistent communication, reliability, and proactive account management.
Qualifications
- Social media management skills, including experience with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn, and familiarity with scheduling and analytics tools.
- Content coordination skills, including the ability to create briefs, organize shoots, and manage content calendars across multiple client accounts.
- Strong communication and client service skills, with the ability to translate client goals into actionable social media plans and maintain professional, timely correspondence.
- Basic copywriting and editing skills for crafting clear, engaging captions, post copy, and simple campaign messaging.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with proven ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with brand strategy, visual storytelling, and current social media trends; prior experience in content creation or agency environments is an advantage.
- Comfort working with digital tools (project management platforms, shared drives, communication apps) and openness to learning new systems quickly.
- Relevant education or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, media, or a related field is preferred but not required.
