You don't want to manage a content calendar and post material written by someone else. You want to uncover the story, capture it, craft it, publish it, and demonstrate its impact. If you require an established framework, a confined scope, or extended planning cycles before going live, this position will feel uncomfortably open-ended. If you adapt quickly, produce authentic content, and understand what families weigh before selecting a school, continue reading.
Prequel builds family confidence through narratives that demonstrate student outcomes when education takes a different approach. This position exists because exceptional education doesn't advance through refined messaging. It advances through tangible evidence: a student's transformative moment, a parent's question addressed, a campus scene documented effectively, a brief video that stops the right family mid-scroll. You will be present in schools, conduct interviews with students and families, convert unstructured moments into compelling content, and let performance metrics guide your next decisions.
This also represents an opportunity to master AI-powered marketing infrastructure while constructing it. You will apply AI for research, initial drafts, refinement, content adaptation, search optimization, and process architecture, but you will not release algorithmically generated filler. Your responsibility is safeguarding precision, tone, and narrative while scaling production. One solid source narrative should transform into a suite of valuable materials across Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads, search platforms, and additional channels.
This is an entry-level position with atypical autonomy. You will not supervise a team or control a paid advertising budget. You will develop credibility, frameworks, and discernment through execution. If you have previously produced content for an actual audience and want your contributions to influence how families find a new model of schooling, submit your application.
What You Will Be Doing
- Produce platform-specific organic materials for Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads, and similar channels, including opening hooks, video scripts, post captions, carousel designs, and short-format video content
- Conduct in-person interviews with students and families at Prequel school sites, then transform unedited conversations into transparent, consent-based stories with compelling evidence
- Capture, compile, refine, and prepare lightweight visual and video resources using widely available tools
- Apply AI technologies to investigate, compose, refine, repurpose, and verify content sets across various channels
- Analyze social media and search performance metrics, then incorporate insights into subsequent content development
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Posting pre-drafted material without accountability for the idea, narrative, execution, or results
- Managing paid advertising initiatives, media purchasing, budget allocation, or paid channel analytics
- Developing strategic presentations that fail to result in published work
- Serving as the lead graphic designer, creative lead, or professional video production team
- Releasing unvetted AI-generated text, redundant caption iterations, or search-engine-stuffed blog posts
