Role Description The Community Content Coordinator is a full-time, hybrid role based in Brooklyn, NY, with flexibility for partial work from home. In this role, the coordinator will manage and curate content across social media, community platforms, and brand channels, ensuring that messaging is consistent with each brand’s voice and goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and scheduling posts, moderating comments and conversations, and engaging with community members to build brand loyalty and awareness. The coordinator will collaborate with marketing, creative, and influencer teams to support campaigns, gather community insights, and identify content opportunities that resonate with target audiences. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, reporting on engagement trends, and recommending content optimizations to improve reach and impact.
Qualifications
- Ability to create, edit, and curate engaging content for social media, community platforms, and other digital channels.
- Experience managing online communities, including moderating conversations, responding to comments, and fostering positive engagement.
- Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms, with the ability to interpret data and inform content decisions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear, inclusive written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and brand tone of voice.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and talent partners.
- Understanding of beauty, lifestyle, or consumer brands and interest in current trends in social media and digital communities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, with the ability to attend in-person meetings in Brooklyn, NY as needed.
