Role Description: The Marketing Content Manager is a 6-month contract role supporting client work in Irving, TX. This position requires 3 days a week in the office and has the potential to be permanent. Only applicants in the Dallas, TX area will be considered.
The content manager is responsible for planning, creating, and managing content that supports clients’ brand, demand generation, and customer experience objectives. This role develops integrated content strategies across channels, including the website, email, social media, and sales enablement materials, ensuring messages align with the client’s brand voice and business goals. Day-to-day tasks include researching target personas, drafting and editing marketing copy, coordinating content calendars, and collaborating with consultants and clients to align content with campaign and communication plans. The Marketing Content Manager will analyze performance metrics, optimize content based on insights, and maintain organized content libraries and workflows. The role involves direct collaboration with client stakeholders, participation in strategy sessions, and the ability to translate complex business concepts into clear, engaging narratives.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in B2B or professional services marketing; familiarity with enterprise organizations and events a must.
- Strong content planning and organization skills, including Content Management and Content Strategy.
- Proficiency in Marketing and Digital Marketing, with experience executing multi-channel campaigns.
- Excellent Writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and industries.
- Experience using analytics and marketing tools (e.g., CMS platforms, email marketing tools, social media management, and basic reporting dashboards).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders, and to present ideas clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
