Layout Specialist (Digital User Guides)
At Murphy & Company, we help financial institutions close the digital banking adoption gap through clear, structured, and accessible educational content. Our digital user guides and video tutorials are designed to reduce confusion, improve feature usage, and ultimately lower support burden.
We are looking for a Layout Specialist to support the production of our digital user guides. This role is focused on execution. Taking structured content and turning it into clean, consistent, and highly usable layouts that align with both our standards and each client’s brand.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will be working within our production pipeline to build and refine digital user guides across multiple banking platforms.
- Layout and format user guide content using established templates and systems
- Apply client branding accurately across typography, color, and visual elements
- Ensure consistency across large documents with multiple sections and use cases
- Prepare assets for flipbook-style delivery and digital distribution
- Collaborate with our internal team to implement revisions efficiently
- Maintain a high standard of clarity, readability, and visual hierarchy
What We’re Looking For
This is not a concepting role. It is a precision role for someone who takes pride in clean execution.
- Strong experience in layout design (InDesign, Adobe CC, or similar tools)
- A sharp eye for typography, spacing, and consistency
- Ability to work within established systems while maintaining quality
- Experience working with long-form or instructional content is a strong plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment
- Detail-oriented to the point where inconsistencies stand out immediately
Bonus Experience
- Experience working with financial institutions or fintech products
- Familiarity with ADA / accessibility considerations in digital content
- Experience preparing content for interactive or flipbook formats
