Social Media Manager + Administrative Assistant
Brennan’s Hospitality Group | St. Louis, MO
Part-Time | On-Site Thursday–Saturday, 4:00 PM–10:00 PM
$25/hour
Brennan’s Hospitality Group is looking for a highly organized, creative, and hospitality-minded Social Media Manager + Administrative Assistant to join our team.
This is a hybrid role for someone who can move comfortably between content creation, social media, guest engagement, events, and behind-the-scenes administrative support. You’ll be on-site during some of our busiest hours, capturing the energy of our concepts while also helping keep the many moving pieces of a growing hospitality group organized.
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, has a great eye, writes well, and understands that hospitality happens both in the room and online.
Schedule + Compensation
- Thursday–Saturday, 4:00 PM–10:00 PM
- Approximately 18 on-site hours per week
- $25/hour
- Additional hours may occasionally be available for special events, projects, meetings, or administrative needs
Social Media + Content
- Capture engaging photo and video content across Brennan’s Hospitality Group concepts
- Create Instagram Stories, Reels, posts, and other short-form social content
- Document events, food, cocktails, spaces, staff, members, guests, and behind-the-scenes moments
- Maintain an active social presence, using scheduling/planning software Buffer
- Assist with writing captions, event announcements, promotions, and other marketing copy
- Help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across concepts
- Monitor comments, tags, DMs, and guest engagement and route questions to the appropriate team member
- Organize and maintain a usable library of photo and video assets
- Help build and maintain a social/content calendar
- Coordinate with managers, chefs, bartenders, event staff, DJs, artists, vendors, and collaborators to capture upcoming programming
- Identify great organic content opportunities rather than relying solely on staged or pre-planned shoots
Administrative Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to ownership and leadership
- Assist with calendars, scheduling, meeting coordination, and follow-ups
- Draft and organize emails, internal communications, documents, and notes
- Maintain organized digital files, shared documents, contact lists, and project information
- Assist with event calendars, programming details, menus, promotional information, and deadlines
- Help collect information from managers and departments so projects continue moving forward
- Assist with data entry, basic reporting, research, and special projects
- Keep track of outstanding tasks and proactively follow up with the appropriate team members
- Help leadership turn ideas, conversations, and meetings into organized next steps
Who We're Looking For
You’re someone who is equally comfortable filming a packed rooftop, editing a Reel, writing a clever caption, updating a spreadsheet, and holding yourself accountable to high performance and hospitality standards.
You should be:
- Extremely organized and dependable
- A strong writer and communicator
- Comfortable creating photo and video content on an iPhone
- Familiar with Instagram, Buffer, Canva, and basic content-editing tools
- Able to recognize what makes compelling hospitality content
- Comfortable working independently without needing constant direction
- Proactive about finding things that need to be done
- Detail-oriented and good at following through
- Comfortable in a fast-paced restaurant, bar, nightlife, and event environment
- Friendly and professional with guests, staff, members, vendors, and collaborators
- Able to shift quickly between creative work and administrative responsibilities
- Available consistently Thursday through Saturday evenings
Bonus Points
Experience with hospitality, restaurants, nightlife, events, photography, graphic design, Canva, Google Workspace, scheduling platforms, email marketing, or project-management software is a plus.
The Role
This isn't a traditional desk job, and it isn't solely a social media position. Some nights you'll be capturing a packed event, filming a chef finishing a dish, or finding the perfect 10-second moment for Instagram. Other nights you'll be organizing next month's programming, updating calendars, following up on projects, or helping leadership get through a growing administrative list.
We're looking for someone who likes being in the middle of things—creative, organized, resourceful, and genuinely excited about hospitality and building interesting places in St. Louis.
