Position Overview
The Junior Art Director, Social is responsible for concepting, producing, and executing high-quality, social-first creative that brings the MINA BAIE brand to life across digital channels. This role blends creative thinking with hands-on execution, owning content from initial concept through final delivery.
Reporting to the Creative Director and partnering closely with the Social and Marketing teams, this individual translates campaigns, product launches, and brand priorities into engaging visual stories optimized for social platforms. They are expected to think beyond trends, bringing strong creative judgment, exceptional visual taste, and a deep understanding of content that feels both platform-native and unmistakably MINA BAIE.
This role is highly executional. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing concepts, planning shoots, styling products, capturing photo and video, directing talent, and editing final assets. While larger brand campaigns are led by the Creative Director, the Junior Art Director independently owns the creative development and production of always-on content from concept to final delivery.
Responsibilities
Creative Development
- Develop social-first concepts that support launches, campaigns, evergreen storytelling, and paid media.
- Translate broader brand initiatives into engaging platform-specific creative.
- Create mood boards, creative references, shot lists, and production plans that support each content initiative.
- Bring a strong point of view on visual storytelling while maintaining consistency with the MINA BAIE brand.
Creative Execution
- Own social content creation from concept through final asset delivery.
- Independently plan, produce, style, shoot, direct, and edit high-quality photo and video content.
- Make creative decisions around composition, lighting, styling, props, casting, pacing, and storytelling.
- Capture content that elevates the brand while remaining native to each platform.
- Edit and deliver polished assets optimized for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, paid media, email, and emerging platforms.
Production
- Produce social content shoots from start to finish, including location scouting, talent coordination, prop sourcing, scheduling, and shoot logistics.
- Direct on-set execution for owned productions, ensuring creative quality remains high throughout the process.
- Support larger brand productions when social content capture is required, partnering with the Creative Director to execute channel-specific deliverables.
Collaboration
- Partner closely with Creative, Social, and Marketing to identify content opportunities and evolving business needs.
- Present concepts and creative thinking with confidence while remaining open to feedback and iteration.
- Stay ahead of cultural shifts, platform trends, and emerging content formats that can strengthen the brand's creative output.
Qualifications
- 4–6+ years of experience in art direction, content creation, brand creative, or social-first creative.
- Portfolio demonstrating exceptional creative judgment across photography, video, styling, and visual storytelling.
- Strong understanding of luxury, fashion, lifestyle, or premium consumer brands.
- Demonstrated ability to independently concept, produce, shoot, and edit content.
- Excellent eye for composition, lighting, color, typography, pacing, and design.
- Strong photography and videography skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects).
- Experience with Figma, adobe suite, and modern content editing tools such as CapCut.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple productions simultaneously.
- Highly collaborative, self-directed, and comfortable taking ownership.

Whether working with a modest budget or producing a larger content shoot, they make thoughtful creative decisions that strengthen the brand and expand its visual language.
The salary range for this role is $100,000–$115,000 annually, based on experience, portfolio, and demonstrated creative execution.
