About the roleTouchPoint Marketing is a small, founder-led marketing firm working with owner-operated service businesses. This is our first hire.
You would work directly with both founders on client marketing and on the projects we are building internally. It is a real seat with real client work, and you will own pieces of it early. We are looking for someone starting out in marketing who wants to learn the craft with people who will teach it.
What you will doContent and social media
- Plan, schedule, and post content for clients and for us
- Edit short-form video for Reels, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Draft captions and hooks
- Keep the content calendar accurate and moving
Client work
- Join strategy sessions and help turn them into deliverables
- Pull performance data and help interpret it
- Build and send email campaigns
- Write and edit copy for landing pages, emails, social, and sales material
- Competitor and market research
Internal projects
- Help build the systems, templates, and processes that keep a small team running
- Keep project boards clean and current
- Support the products and content we are building in-house
Your mix of work will shift as your skills grow. The goal is for you to own an area outright within your first several months.
What we are looking for- Currently studying marketing in college, or a completed degree in marketing or a closely related field
- Some hands-on marketing experience already: an internship, freelance or agency work, a class project that shipped, or accounts you have run yourself
- Strong writing, and a good ear for how words sound spoken out loud
- Comfort with at least one video editing tool (CapCut, Premiere, Descript, or similar)
- You use social platforms as a creator, not just a scroller
- You can track your own work and hit deadlines
- You are open to direct feedback
- A reliable work-from-home setup, and availability during the hours you commit to
- Local enough to join the occasional in-person working session
Nice to have- Experience with email platforms, CRMs, or project management tools
- Experience using AI tools for research, writing, or production
- A portfolio, personal brand, or side project
What you get- Direct mentorship from both founders, including a fractional CMO who has built marketing programs for businesses in the $1M to $25M range
- Client work from your first week
- Exposure to the full marketing stack: strategy, content, email, data, and paid
- Training in how we use AI to do more with a small team
Where this can goWe are hiring with the long term in mind. As the business grows, we expect this role to expand toward full time with more responsibility and pay to match. That depends on both business growth and your performance, and we would rather say so up front than oversell it.
