Responsibilities and more:
Responsibilities:
- Help grow Chef Starz, a kids cooking and creativity app.
- Create and post social media content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and the Chef Starz app.
- Edit short-form videos featuring recipes, app demonstrations, and Chef Starz products.
- Create at least one social media video per week.
- Recruit new active users who will download the app and post content regularly.
- Contact parent creators, family influencers, and potential brand partners.
- Develop new marketing ideas to increase app downloads, engagement, and brand awareness.
- Help plan content calendars, campaigns, giveaways, and product launches.
- Write captions, hooks, calls to action, and simple promotional copy.
- Track basic results such as views, engagement, downloads, and active users.
- Work closely with the founder and provide regular progress updates.
Requirements:
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Experience with social media marketing or content creation.
- Experience editing short-form videos using CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Creative, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
- Able to communicate during Florida business hours.
- Comfortable working with a family-friendly brand aimed at children and parents.
- Able to generate original content and marketing ideas rather than only following instructions.
- Organized and able to meet weekly deadlines.
- Reliable internet connection and computer.
