Position Title – Graphic Designer II
Hourly Pay Rate (w2 Role) - $55 -$60
Contract role until 9/17/2026
Onsite Role
Location - SEA/TAC
Overview:
The Graphic Designer II is responsible for creating engaging graphics, animations, and visual media that support learning and development initiatives. This individual contributor role enhances content through creative design strategies and modern techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage moderately complex graphic design projects including timelines, visual materials, scripts, and stakeholder communication.
- Design and produce graphics, illustrations, images, animations, and layouts for e-learning modules, training content, and communication materials while following brand and design standards.
- Recommend visual enhancements based on design specifications, storyboards, and simulations.
- Collaborate closely with instructional designers, SMEs, and team members to develop visually compelling learning experiences.
- Participate in stakeholder discussions, contributing creative ideas to strengthen visual impact.
- Provide regular project updates and proactively flag potential challenges.
- Stay current with industry design trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve graphic and animation standards.
- Utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) to upload, test, and update course materials.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of graphic design experience in learning & development or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, animation, graphic art, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design/animation tools.
- Strong skills in graphic creation and image manipulation.
- Experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 or Adobe Captivate.
- Exceptional creativity and innovation in design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating animation and digital design work.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to evaluate design impacts and adjust workload efficiently.
- Ability to provide expert consultation on visual learning materials.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Minimum age 18; must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent certificate in Graphic Design, Animation, or related field.
- Experience in photography and videography.
- Strong understanding of web design principles.
