Overview
SOFO Marketing is a boutique agency specializing in wellness, hospitality, and lifestyle brands. We’re seeking a highly organized and creative Account Manager / Project Manager to oversee day-to-day execution across our growing portfolio of Spa clients. This role requires someone who can think strategically, communicate clearly, and manage timelines—while also bringing fresh ideas to support local visibility and community engagement.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Communication & Project Oversight
- Serve as the primary point of contact for 3 - 6 independently owned spa locations across different states that operate under the same national franchise
- Own the timeline and workflow for each account, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are reviewed before submission
- Coordinate internal team efforts across social media, email, influencer, and design-related tasks (e.g., flyers, signage, digital graphics).
- Lead regularly scheduled internal and client calls or virtual meetings, and follow up with clear recaps and action steps
- Manage design-related deliverables, including in-spa signage, event materials, digital ads, and print advertisements. Ensure all design requests are submitted with clear direction, routed for approval, and delivered on time.
- Manage and mentor 1 - 3 freelancers supporting content, email, or influencer tasks
- Report directly to the Founder / Strategic Director
Local Partnership Development
- Proactively help each location identify and facilitate meaningful local business partnerships (e.g., boutiques, hotels, wellness brands, fitness studios)
- Collaborate with spa owners and internal team to create strategic, on-brand partnership ideas that drive traffic and brand awareness
- Track and manage partnership outreach, activations, and results
Review Management
- Monitor and respond to client reviews across Google, Yelp, and Facebook using brand-aligned tone
- Escalate any negative or sensitive reviews to spa owners and internal leadership with recommended response strategies
Reporting & Insights
- Prepare and deliver monthly or quarterly marketing reports (cadence varies by spa location)
- Compile social media, email, influencer, and review data into polished summaries
- Identify performance trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Quality Control
- Conduct final checks on all client-facing deliverables before approval
- Ensure brand voice, campaign alignment, and attention to detail across platforms
Qualifications
- Experience in account management or project coordination (agency or multi-client experience preferred)
- Strategic thinker with a track record of developing creative campaigns or partnerships
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple timelines and deliverables at once
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook), email marketing tools (Robly, Mailchimp, or similar), project management tools (Asana)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable interfacing directly with clients in a professional, friendly, and proactive manner
- Passion for wellness, beauty, or hospitality industries a plus
