The RoleThe Content Producer's core job is to write. Specifically, 80% of this role is copywriting and content creation: blogs, emails, web copy, ads, and social content for a portfolio of B2B clients. Not "writing" for its own sake. But content that earns attention, builds mental availability, and connects to pipeline growth.
The other 20% of your work spans content strategy support, editorial planning, and cross-team coordination. This is a production role with a strategic backbone, not the other way around.
This is an AI-native role. We leverage generative AI as a core production tool within the writing process. But we’re not looking for an AI engineer. Or someone who simply delegates all of their writing to a tool. We’re looking for someone who understands how to get high-quality, on-brand output that will engage a target audience. And knows how AI fits into that workflow.
Key Responsibilities- Write, edit, and proofread copy across formats: blogs, email sequences, website copy, ads, social media, and landing pages
- Translate creative briefs and brand positioning into compelling, on-voice copy for diverse B2B industries
- Create content aligned to where the buyer is in their journey with an understanding of how it drives pipeline
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and messaging across all digital touchpoints
- Apply standard SEO and AEO principles and keyword research to optimize content for organic visibility
- Write cold emails, nurture sequences, and direct response copy that convert without feeling like spam
- Use Claude daily as a production partner for topic extraction, drafting, repurposing, and quality control
- Work within structured Claude Projects using pre-loaded brand, ICP, and strategy context to maintain consistency across clients
- Support content strategy development and maintain editorial calendars using 1 Bold Step processes and templates
- Monitor trending topics relevant to client industries and flag opportunities for content expansion
- Participate in weekly sprint and planning meetings with clients under the Agile Marketing method
- Hold clients and team members accountable (kindly) to the project plan and content schedule
What You BringMust-Haves
- 3+ years of B2B content writing experience across blogs, emails, web copy, ads
- A portfolio that shows range: long-form and short-form, multiple industries, multiple voices
- Demonstrable AI literacy: you use Claude or ChatGPT regularly in your workflow and can speak concretely about how
- Strong editorial judgment: you know when something isn't good enough and can articulate why
- Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable working asynchronously in a remote team
- Experience writing for technology, professional services, or industrial B2B sectors
- Familiarity with Agile marketing workflows (sprint planning, Asana or similar)
- SEO fundamentals: keyword research, search intent, on-page optimization
