Role Description
The Marketing & Social Media Coordinator is a contract, hybrid role based in Coral Springs, FL, with a combination of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and scheduling content across social media platforms to promote club programs, events, and achievements. The coordinator monitors engagement metrics, responds to comments and messages, and helps maintain a consistent, on-brand voice for the club. Day-to-day tasks include capturing photos and videos at practices and games, drafting email and website updates, and collaborating with coaches and staff to support registration campaigns and event promotions. The role also involves maintaining a basic content calendar, coordinating with external vendors or partners when needed, and ensuring all marketing materials align with the club’s values and community-focused mission.
Qualifications
- Experience managing social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) and using scheduling tools to plan and publish content.
- Strong written and visual communication skills, including basic copywriting, image selection, and simple graphic or video editing.
- Ability to plan and execute marketing campaigns that support registrations, events, sponsorships, and community engagement.
- Comfort capturing photos and short-form videos at practices, games, and club events, with attention to brand reputation and privacy guidelines.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a content calendar and meet deadlines in a part-time or contract setting.
- Ability to collaborate respectfully with coaches, staff, families, and community partners in a diverse and inclusive environment.
- Previous experience in sports, youth programs, or community organizations is preferred; familiarity with soccer is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or experience in marketing, communications, or a related field is beneficial.
