Our client, the world's largest home builder, is seeking a creative, strategic, and results-oriented Senior Manager, Social Media, to lead the development and execution of their organic social media strategy across key platforms. This role will be responsible for building brand awareness, growing engaged communities, driving cultural relevance, and creating compelling content experiences that strengthen customer relationships and support broader business objectives.
The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist, storyteller, creator, analyst, and people leader. They possess a deep understanding of platform trends, audience behavior, creator partnerships, and content performance, with a proven track record of building successful social programs that drive meaningful engagement and measurable business impact.
This position will work closely with Brand Marketing, Creative, Public Relations, Content, and Digital teams to ensure a cohesive and impactful social presence across all channels. The role requirements are based on the specifications provided in the uploaded document.
Note: This position can be performed remotely within the United States. However, the candidate is expected to travel to Arlington, Texas, for one week every three weeks to work closely with the digital marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute comprehensive organic social media strategies across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
- Own the social media roadmap, aligning channel strategies with brand, marketing, communications, and business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to grow audience engagement, brand awareness, community participation, and share of voice.
- Stay ahead of platform updates, algorithm changes, consumer behaviors, and cultural trends to continuously evolve social strategies.
- Establish channel-specific goals, KPIs, and success metrics.
Content Planning & Community Management
- Lead editorial planning and manage the social content calendar across all platforms.
- Oversee content creation, copywriting, scheduling, publishing, and optimization of social content.
- Collaborate with internal creative teams and external partners to develop engaging platform-native content, including video, graphics, stories, and thought leadership content.
- Ensure consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all social channels.
- Manage community engagement efforts, including audience interactions, customer responses, and reputation management.
- Identify opportunities to participate in relevant cultural conversations and real-time engagement moments.
Influencer & Creator Partnerships
- Develop and execute influencer and creator partnership strategies that support brand awareness and engagement goals.
- Identify, source, evaluate, and manage creator relationships across multiple social platforms.
- Lead influencer campaigns from briefing and negotiation through content approvals, execution, reporting, and optimization.
- Build long-term relationships with creators, industry influencers, and brand advocates.
- Track campaign performance and evaluate ROI against established objectives.
Analytics & Performance Reporting
- Monitor and analyze social media performance across channels, including reach, engagement, follower growth, video views, traffic, and conversion metrics.
- Develop weekly, monthly, and campaign-level reporting for leadership and key stakeholders.
- Translate performance insights into actionable recommendations that improve content effectiveness and audience growth.
- Utilize social listening and competitive analysis tools to identify emerging opportunities and trends.
- Conduct testing and experimentation to optimize content performance and engagement.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Manage social media budgets, agency relationships, freelancers, and external vendors.
- Lead, mentor, and develop social media team members while fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with Brand, PR, Creative, Content, Customer Experience, and Digital Marketing teams to ensure alignment across campaigns and communications.
- Serve as the organization's social media subject matter expert and trusted advisor to leadership.
- Support integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, events, and corporate communications initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, content marketing, or brand communications.
- Proven experience developing and executing successful multi-platform social media strategies.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Facebook, and emerging social platforms.
- Experience managing content calendars, community engagement programs, and influencer partnerships.
- Demonstrated success using social analytics and reporting to drive strategic decision-making.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

- Experience leading social media teams or direct reports.
- Experience working with B2B, consumer, lifestyle, technology, or high-growth brands.
- Familiarity with paid social amplification strategies and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Experience collaborating with PR, influencer marketing, and creative production teams.
