Position Overview
The Senior Editor is a lead creative contributor responsible for driving editorial quality, storytelling excellence, and workflow efficiency across all video content. Reporting to the Director, Post Production, this role oversees complex edits, mentors junior editors, and ensures creative execution aligns with brand vision for a large-scale resort and casino.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Lead editing on high-visibility campaigns, including:
- Integrated marketing campaigns
- TV spots, brand films, and digital launches
- Signature entertainment and resort storytelling pieces
- Translate creative direction into compelling visual narratives with strong pacing, emotional impact, and brand consistency
- Partner closely with creative directors, producers, and marketing leaders to shape concepts and execution
- Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to Editors and freelance talent
- Oversee edit quality across projects, ensuring consistency in output, color, audio, and finishing standards
- Handle advanced post-production including:
- Multi-layered storytelling edits
- Advanced color work and audio design
- Integration of motion graphics and VFX (collaborating with specialists as needed)
- Manage complex timelines and prioritize multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
- Support post-production workflows, standards, and process improvements under the Director’s leadership
- Participate in asset management, delivery standards, and continuous improvement of editing practices
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
Qualification Requirements

- 5–8+ years of professional editing experience, including lead editor responsibilities
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; strong working knowledge of After Effects and color workflows
- Familiarity with high-volume in-house creative teams or agency environments
- Knowledge of advanced finishing workflows, including color grading standards and sound design
- Experience coordinating with external vendors (studios, freelancers, post houses)
- Demonstrated experience leading campaign-level or brand storytelling work
- Strong leadership instincts with ability to mentor and elevate team output
- Deep understanding of multi-platform content delivery (broadcast, digital, social, experiential)
- Exceptional storytelling sensibility with strong creative judgment

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

SALARY
$80000.00 per year - $95000.00 per year
