Freelance Social Media Growth Partner — Food & Beverage
The Basque Baker is a premium Spanish dessert brand based in San Diego, California, specialized in artisanal Basque-style cheesecakes.
We are currently looking for a creative and results-driven freelance social media professional to help grow our online presence, strengthen our brand, and turn social media attention into real customers.
Responsibilities:
• Social media strategy and content planning
• Instagram growth and engagement support
• Creation of content ideas for posts, reels, and stories
• Caption writing, hooks, and calls to action
• Support with brand voice and visual consistency
• Trend research and content opportunities
• Performance tracking and growth recommendations
• Support with local partnerships, collaborations, and outreach
Requirements:
• Previous experience growing social media accounts, preferably in food, beverage, hospitality, or lifestyle brands
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, reels, and short-form content
• Creative mindset with strong attention to branding and aesthetics
• Fluent English communication
• Spanish is a plus
• Basic video editing or content creation experience is a plus
• Experience with Meta Ads or boosted posts is a plus
