Surface/Pattern Designer
A lifestyle-focused brand is seeking a talented Surface Designer to join the team on a contract/temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for pattern, color, and composition, who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment and has experience preparing production-ready surface designs.
📍 Location: On Site - Vernon
📅 Duration: Contract/Temporary
💲 Compensation: 30-50/hr
What You’ll Do
- Create original prints, patterns, and surface designs
- Develop seamless repeats and sophisticated colorways
- Prepare final artwork files for production and manufacturing
- Collaborate cross-functionally to execute against creative direction and product needs
- Ensure designs are technically accurate and production-ready
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in surface design, textile design, wallpaper design, or related fields
- Strong understanding of repeat pattern construction and color development
- Advanced proficiency in Photoshop
- Ability to balance creativity with technical execution
- Experience with NedGraphics is a plus, but not required
