Robert Half's client, an agency, is looking for a Senior Web Designer with strong UX expertise to support a high‑visibility client engagement focused on modernizing a luxury website. This role is highly creative and design‑led—not development‑focused—and requires exceptional visual design skills paired with thoughtful UX execution.
The ideal candidate is a polished, confident design professional who can lead web design decisions, translate high‑level requirements into elegant UX solutions, and deliver elevated, brand‑forward digital experiences aligned with a luxury aesthetic.
Job Title: Senior Web Designer (UX‑Focused)
Engagement: Contract
Fully remote engagement
Hours will vary and be estimated by project phase and deliverables
Fast turnaround—client review happening now, project starting immediately
Key Responsibilities
- Lead web design and UX execution for a full website modernization initiative
- Design high‑fidelity web layouts, UX wireframes, user flows, and page templates
- Utilize Figma as the primary design tool to deliver thoughtful, scalable design systems and UX concepts
- Partner closely with stakeholders and client teams to interpret requirements and translate them into design‑ready deliverables
- Present initial design concepts and UX specifications within 30 days
- Confidently guide the client through design and UX decisions, offering best‑practice recommendations
- Ensure all designs reflect a luxury look and feel (this is not an e‑commerce site)
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Senior Web Designer, UX Designer, or UX‑focused Visual Designer
- Strong portfolio showcasing web design, UX thinking, wireframes, and modern visual execution
- Expert‑level proficiency in Figma
- Excellent design craftsmanship with a refined visual eye
- Strong understanding of UX principles, usability, and interaction design, especially for content‑rich websites
- Ability to work independently and lead client‑facing design conversations
- Experience designing for luxury, lifestyle, or high‑end brand environments
- Agency experience strongly preferred
The hourly range for this position is W2 $53--64/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
