Robert Half’s client is looking for a freelance Presentation Designer for ongoing, part-time contract work. This is a remote freelance opportunity supporting approximately 5–15 hours per week, with workloads that may fluctuate seasonally. The Presentation Designer will partner with creative, account, and marketing teams to design high‑impact presentations that translate complex ideas into clear, compelling visual stories for sales, executive, and event audiences. Interested candidates should submit a portfolio of relevant presentation design samples in addition to resume.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design high-level presentations for sales, executive, and event‑based use
- Translate complex and technical content into clear, engaging, easy‑to‑understand slides
- Create standalone slides that communicate effectively while maintaining overall presentation flow and narrative
- Develop concept-driven layouts with strong visual hierarchy and clarity
- Partner with stakeholders to understand presentation goals and suggest ways to simplify and strengthen content
- Apply and extend brand guidelines across presentations with varying audiences and use cases
- Build, manage, and maintain custom PowerPoint templates and master slides
- Incorporate feedback efficiently while upholding high standards of design quality
- Proof work carefully to ensure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail
- Ensure presentations align with standard accessibility requirements
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing executive presentations
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint; working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong conceptual thinking paired with production-level execution skills
- Demonstrated experience designing presentations for technical or complex subject matter
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy
- Detail-oriented, proactive self-starter able to manage work independently in a part-time capacity
- Comfortable translating feedback into thoughtful, effective design solutions
- Strong experience creating and managing custom PowerPoint templates and slide masters
- Portfolio of relevant design samples
