Role Description
This is a contract, on-site role for a Freelance Videographer and Graphic Designer based in Wharton, NJ. Apply only if you can come to the site 2 - 3 days a week and bring your own computer. You have to be proficient in video editing and graphic design - No exceptions. You'll be working on short videos and a major layout and design for an event printed program. The role involves handling all aspects of video production, including filming, operating camera equipment, managing lighting, and editing footage to produce compelling short films and documentaries. The Videographer is responsible for editing and producing content. The event program will require your design skills and expertise in layout. The Editor will collaborate with the team to bring creative visions to life while ensuring the quality and storytelling integrity of each project. You must be willing to work a minimum of 4 hours a day on site with the possibility of working up to 8 hours.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Video Production and experience with all stages of the production process
- Strong skills in Camera Operation, including knowledge of different types of camera equipment
- Experience with Lighting techniques and setups to enhance video quality
- Ability to perform Shooting Video in diverse settings, maintaining consistency in style and quality
- Editing expertise and familiarity with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro)
- Strong sense of visual storytelling and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment
- Previous experience with documentary or short film production is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field is preferred but not required
- Must be proficient with Graphic design layout programs like Canva or Indesign
- Must be able to provide your own portable computer
- This is a part time role,
