Social Media Marketing Specialist
*** 25-30 hours per week in Clemson, SC ***
True Orange Boutique is looking for a part-time Social Media Specialist in Clemson, SC to create social media content for their in-store and online retail platform. This position will also photograph items and create compelling product descriptions for our online retail platform. If you love all things Clemson, have fashion photography skills, a way with words, and a unique talent for styling, this could be a position for you. You must reside within a reasonable commute to our location in Clemson, SC.
25-30 hours will primarily include hours in the Clemson boutique for content creation. A small amount of hours could be completed virtually. On-demand replies to follower inquiries within normal business hours/days may also be completed virtually. The ideal applicant will have a passion for all things Clemson and fashion, and have a thirst for gaining experience in the B-to-C social/digital media landscape.
Top candidates will be able to demonstrate creative thinking skills, excellent photography skills, excellent social media content creation (both video and photo), and impeccable marketing writing skills.

JOB DUTIES:
- Maintain social media profile on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
- Style and photograph apparel, jewelry, and gifts for our e-commerce platform
- Help manage all product-related content within our Shopify e-commerce platform although not the primary position
- Engage daily with with social media followers in a demeanor consistent with our brand
- Photograph fashion, accessories, and gift items at our boutique in downtown Clemson or on the Clemson campus to create social media and website content that resonates with our followers and drives both in-store and online traffic
- Create dynamic video content to be featured on social media featuring products and boutique staff
- Assist with creation of engaging email content for customers
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Excellent photography and videography skills using the provided iPhone, and experience in photo editing softwares
- Experience creating graphics on platforms such as Canva
- Prior experience with our e-commerce platform Shopify preferred, but not required.
- An interest or experience in fashion and styling, and an eye for details
- Strong organization skills working within a collaborative team environment
- Creative and passionate about social media marketing, experience preferred
- Prior experience in social media scheduling platforms, such as Meta Business Suite, or willingness to learn
- Must be available at least 25-30 hours a week with flexibility, Monday through Saturday, and availability to be onsite three to four days weekly. Saturday availability will be virtual.
- Must live within a reasonable commute to Clemson, SC
- Must be available to begin immediately upon hiring
