JOB SUMMARY:
Supports Clemson Home and broader Auxiliary Enterprises marketing and communications content development and dissemination across digital, social, and print platforms, with a primary focus on photography and social media. Works under the supervision of professional staff to assist with creating, editing, organizing, and distributing visual and digital content that reflects the Clemson Residential Experience. Contributes to storytelling efforts that highlight residential life, dining, parking, transit and student engagement while maintaining brand standards and accessibility guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
25% - Essential - Content Creation and Visual Media:
Assists with creating graphics, photos, videos, and visual assets that support Clemson Home and Auxiliary Enterprises marketing and communications goals. Helps develop and adapt brand-compliant templates and campaign materials for social media, digital, and print use. Edits and formats content for multiple platforms and maintains organized creative files.
25% - Essential - Photography and Event Support:
Assists with planning, coordinating, and executing photo and video coverage of residence halls, dining spaces, programs, events, staff, and student experiences across Clemson Home and Auxiliary Enterprises. Supports event setup and breakdown related to marketing and communications needs, including signage, displays, and promotional materials. Captures and edits photographs and short-form video content and organizes visual assets for internal and external use.
20% - Essential - Social Media and Digital Engagement:
Supports the scheduling, publishing, and monitoring of content on Clemson Home and Auxiliary Enterprises social media platforms. Assists with promoting campaigns, events, and initiatives. Helps track basic engagement and performance metrics and shares observations. Maintains a consistent voice, tone, and visual identity across channels in alignment with Clemson brand standards.
15% - Essential - Organization and Inventory:
Maintains organized digital and physical files, photography archives, and creative assets. Assists with managing marketing materials, equip
15% - Essential - Research and Collaboration:
Supports research related to trends, peer institutions, audience engagement, and emerging platforms. Helps gather and organize information for campaigns, presentations, and planning purposes. Works collaboratively with other staff members on integrated projects to develop skills in digital marketing, visual communication, and brand management.

Compensation Information
Expected Salary ($11.54/hr)
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
