We are seeking a
Customer Marketing Coordinator (Contractor) to support the execution of customer-focused marketing campaigns and lifecycle initiatives. This is a part-time, contract position (non-employee) with the end date of December 31, 2026 designed to provide flexible, executional and strategic marketing support across a variety of initiatives.
This role will serve as a key partner across marketing programs, helping ensure campaigns launch on time, customer expansion initiatives scale effectively, and the marketing team maintains strong operational momentum.
This position is ideal for a mid-level marketer with 3+ years of experience executing marketing campaigns. The role requires a highly organized, proactive individual who enjoys contributing across a variety of marketing initiatives and operating as a "jack-of-all-trades" marketer. The position will focus primarily on customer upsell and cross-sell marketing, while also supporting broader marketing projects as needed.
The contractor will work closely with the marketing team but will operate as an independent contractor responsible for managing their time, deliverables, and output within agreed-upon weekly hours.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Execution & Project Coordination
- Coordinate strategic development and execution of marketing campaigns from planning through launch
- Manage campaign timelines and workflows within project management tools (e.g., Asana)
- Ensure marketing deliverables are completed on schedule and campaigns are launch-ready
- Support cross-functional coordination between marketing, growth, and internal teams
Customer Lifecycle & Expansion Marketing
- Assist in developing and executing upsell and cross-sell marketing campaigns
- Support lifecycle marketing initiatives targeting existing customers
- Help implement segmentation strategies and campaign workflows in collaboration with the growth team
Customer Content & Advocacy
- Coordinate customer case studies, testimonials, and success stories
- Manage outreach and scheduling with customers participating in marketing initiatives
- Maintain a pipeline of customer advocacy content to support marketing campaigns
Event & Program Support
- Support marketing logistics for sponsorships, events, and promotions
- Assist with campaign documentation, reporting, and program tracking
Requirements
- 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B or SaaS environments. Experience in the K-12 private and independent school space is also a plus
- Experience executing marketing campaigns or lifecycle marketing initiatives
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with marketing and project management tools (e.g., CRM, marketing automation platforms, Asana experience a plus)
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Self-starter comfortable operating in a fast-paced marketing environment
Benefits
This is a 1099 contract-based position with part-time hours and is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits. The hourly rate for this role will fall within the range of $60-$80 per hour, with an expected workload of 25-30 hours per week.
