A leading global law firm is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead strategy and content across its social platforms. The firm is looking for someone who can bring fresh thinking to their social media strategy- developing more engaging and modern content to achieve their marketing and business development goals.
This is a contract role for about 3-4 months, with potential for extension or permanent consideration. The firm requires an in-office presence of 3 days/week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the firm’s social media strategy
- Create and publish content across platforms such as LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, and Threads
- Partner with attorneys and the marketing team to promote thought leadership and firm initiatives
- Track performance metrics and adjust strategy based on analytics
- Monitor social trends and identify opportunities to grow engagement and visibility
- Manage social campaigns and budgets
- Ensure all content aligns with firm branding and legal advertising guidelines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 8+ years of marketing experience, including 3–5 years managing social media
- Strong writing, editing, and content development skills
- Experience with social media management and analytics tools
- Understanding of social media KPIs, web traffic metrics, and SEO
- Strong project management and collaboration skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to perform the essential functions of the role, which may include standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis, with or without reasonable accommodation.
