Principal Objective:
The Store Designer supports the Global Store Design team in creating compelling, on-brand physical retail environments across international markets. This role translates global design standards and creative concepts into localized store layouts and shopdrawing-ready design packages, ensuring consistency, functionality, and excellence across all store formats. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creatively driven, and comfortable working across multiple regions, timelines, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Design & Development
• Develop and produce store layouts, 3D designs, elevations, and detail drawings based on global design standards.
• Support new store openings, remodels, and strategic projects across multiple international markets.
• Maintain materials library and source additional materials and samples as necessary.
Global Collaboration
• Coordinate with regional teams, external consultants, and vendors to ensure accurate execution.
• Partner closely with regions to ensure global material standards are clearly communicated and executed.
• Review regional alternate materials and furniture to meet global standards.
Standards & Quality
• Maintain and evolve global store design guidelines and material libraries.
• Ensure design solutions meet brand, operational, sustainability, and cost requirements
• Review drawings and site feedback to ensure design intent is delivered
Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture from an accredited institution.
• 6-10 years of professional experience in architecture or interior design.
• Experience producing drawing sets through design development stage with strong knowledge of construction and millwork detailing.
• Highly organized and strong communicator, with the ability to maintain an organized materials library and ensure clear coordination with internal partners and regional teams.
• Shows agility and flexibility; must be a team player that can handle multiple tasks. Must have the ability to listen, follow direction, be responsive to change and feedback and have a willingness to collaborate with all designers on the team.
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Powerpoint and Adobe Acrobat.
• 3D Modeling and Rendering skill is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 programs.
