We are seeking an experienced Social Media ETW professional to support the Global Social Media team. This high-impact, fast-paced role will focus on content creation, community engagement, platform management, and trend monitoring across priority global social platforms.
The ideal candidate is deeply embedded in Gen Z culture, fashion, streetwear, sports, and pop culture, and understands how to translate trends into compelling, social-first storytelling. This role requires a highly creative, detail-oriented, and collaborative individual who can operate both strategically and tactically while maintaining brand excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development
- Conceptualize and create compelling, social-first content supporting key brand stories
- Develop platform-native content across Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube
- Ensure creative excellence aligned with brand standards
Platform Management
- Manage scheduling and publishing of content across global social channels
- Maintain daily hygiene of social handles (bio updates, links, highlights, playlists, etc.)
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across platforms
Community Building & Management
- Monitor and engage with social communities
- Respond to followers and cultivate authentic relationships
- Execute best-in-class engagement strategies
Social Listening & Trend Monitoring
- Track sentiment and emerging trends across the social ecosystem
- Identify real-time opportunities for brand participation
- Elevate insights to internal stakeholders
Brand Voice & Tone (TOV)
- Maintain and evolve brand tone of voice across platforms
- Ensure alignment with brand positioning and persona
- Adapt messaging to platform-specific nuances
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Brand, Creative, and Communications teams
- Coordinate with external agencies and key stakeholders
- Drive initiatives forward independently while ensuring alignment
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior-level social media role
- Experience working with top-tier brands/companies (e.g., New Balance, Reebok, National Basketball Association, etc.)
- Proven track record executing high-performing engagement strategies
Platform Expertise (Non-Negotiable)
- Expert-level knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube
- Deep understanding of platform algorithms, trends, and best practices
Brand & Cultural Alignment (Non-Negotiable)
- Strong affinity for and understanding of the Nike / Converse brand ecosystem
- Deeply connected to Gen Z culture, fashion, streetwear, sports, art, music, and pop culture
Content & Communication Skills
- Exceptional writing skills with ability to adapt to brand TOV
- High creative standards and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities

Education
- Bachelor’s degree required
