Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role based in Boston, MA, for a Social Media Manager. This highly creative and self-sufficient individual will be responsible for creating and implementing social media strategies, optimizing content for various platforms, and managing social media accounts to grow engagement. Regular tasks include writing and scheduling posts, monitoring analytics, collaborating with the team to align with marketing goals, and staying informed of industry trends to enhance the company's online presence.
- MUST be based locally (Greater Boston area)
- 10-12 hours per week (with the chance to become full-time)
- The ideal candidate will be passionate about interior design, enjoy engaging with the online design community, and excel at digital storytelling
- Has a naturally creative eye, is collaborative, and is aware of trends and how best to engage on most social media platforms
- Help establish the KPI YouTube platform
- Knowledge of editing and posting videos to YouTube
- Understanding of analytics and algorithms, and pays attention to this
- Responsible for creating brand content, managing social media profiles
- Is a team player and collaborates well with the rest of the firm
- Creation and distribution of company newsletters/email blasts
- Updating the website and creating content for the blog page
- Can recognize the KPI brand image and communicate it fluently to our audience, demonstrating good grammar and writing skills
- You will be required to join at various scheduled site meetings and be prepared with the list of necessary content to take during those meetings
- Please note this position does not have the ability to turn into an "interior designer" role
Must have a college degree and prior work experience in an applicable field (in school or working). Must be proficient in social media, digital marketing, and content creation. Exceptional written communication skills and experience with photography and editing are required as well.
You will be expected to share your resume, a cover letter, Instagram profile, as well as any work you have completed in the past, if you wish to be considered for this position. KPI will also ask you to create an example of three posts for the company.
