Social Media & Community Lead (Part-Time, NYC Area)
Geni is a fast-growing startup building a next-generation storytelling toy that helps kids create their own stories using physical tiles and AI. We’re looking for a creative, energetic social media marketer to join us part-time (a few hours a day) but preferable daily. We are based in the Lower East Side.
What you will do:
- Film and edit short-form videos (Instagram, TikTok, Reels)
- Run and optimize Meta ads (Facebook + Instagram)
- Manage and grow our social media accounts
- Engage in parenting Facebook groups (thoughtfully + authentically)
- Participate in relevant Reddit forums (no spammy vibes)
- Help shape our content strategy based on performance data
- Be on-site regularly to film product demos, founder content, and behind-the-scenes moments
You:
- Enjoys being both creative and analytical
- Are confident on camera (or excited to become confident!)
- Have experience running Meta ads
- Understands moms and parenting communities
- Have experience filming, editing and producing video content
- Care about education, creativity, and healthy tech use
- Are NYC-based and available to work in-person on occasion (part-time hours)
- Has experience using AI and cares deeply about AI safety
