- Communicate with project editors to clarify preferences and confirm when prep is complete.
- Conduct music searches, organize assets, and support editors during active projects.
- Add subtitles and captions ahead of delivery.
- Assist with quality checks and final outputs, depending on editor capacity.
- Manage version control and naming conventions to maintain consistency across projects.
- Maintain and archive media in alignment with organizational standards to ensure searchability, system cleanliness, and long-term usability of assets.
- Support basic edits, templatized content, and versioning of existing videos.
- Promote and model post-production best practices to freelance editors and external contributors.
- Maintain project tracking documentation and update records throughout the lifecycle of each job.
- Interface with producers, editors, and partners with clear written and verbal communication.
- Take initiative on special projects as assigned by the Post Production Supervisor, Production Manager, or Team Manager.
- Occasionally support on-set or in-studio productions by receiving, organizing, and backing up footage to ensure a smooth handoff to post-production.

- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or similar professional level editing software; familiarity with additional Adobe Creative Cloud apps (Photoshop, After Effects, Media Encoder, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience with media prep, file management, and project organization.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially when it comes to naming conventions, version tracking, and spotting export errors.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working in Google Workspace, Slack, and task tracking tools.
- Interest in learning and improving systems that make post-production scalable.
- Ability to prioritize work tasks on multiple projects simultaneously and appropriately escalate issues when needed.
