Title: Digital Marketing Specialist
Start Date: First Week of April

Pay: $25 per hour
Hours: 20 hours per week
Total Compensation: $16,000

Location: Hybrid (Mostly virtual and a few times a month in person at select apparel manufacturer clients in midtown Manhattan)
Made in NYC and 3pts (“three points”) are seeking two junior to senior digital specialists for a eight-month part time freelance role supporting select NYC Garment District businesses. In this dynamic role, each specialist will work closely with two local garment manufacturers to help plan, manage, and execute initiatives aimed at strengthening their sales and overall digital presence. Specialist will report to and be supported by a program lead who provides onboarding and ongoing management.
This role will be a mix of virtual and in-person field work at program participants’ headquarters in Midtown Manhattan. We’re looking for applicants with a passion for digital tools & marketing, fashion, style, and supporting small businesses. Throughout the seven-month project, digital specialist will work across a range of activities, which may include social media and email communications, content creation, data analysis, and other digital operations that support business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Ideating and executing digital marketing tactics across email, web and social media for participating businesses
- Producing content
- Assisting with administrative support work
- Conducting research, identifying insights and analyzing results
- Managing and updating databases
- Participating in regular weekly and monthly status meetings
- Regularly interacting with key points of contact from participating businesses
- And other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills Required for Role:
- Proven digital marketing expertise across a range of channels, including email, social media, and content strategy.
- A strong ability to multitask
- Highly responsible and responsive in work environments
- Strong writing and editing abilities
- Proficient with Google Drive (Docs, Slides, Sheets)
- Strong communication skills
- A curious person that’s always looking to learn
- Knowledge of and or interest in style and fashion
- An ability to research and write reports
