Digital Production Designer (Freelance)
We’re seeking a Freelance Digital Production Designer to join a busy in-house Digital Team on a long-term, open-ended assignment. This role sits on the Production Artist team and is 100% digital production—no conceptual design, no campaign ideation, and no print. You’ll take approved creative and translate it into accurate, on-brand, production-ready assets that support a high-volume digital marketing program.
Day to day, you’ll focus almost exclusively on email and site production. One teammate leads email, another owns the home page, and you’ll primarily support additional site needs, with occasional paid digital asset requests. You take pride in executing flawlessly so the broader marketing and brand teams can move quickly and confidently.
This position is ideal for someone from a retail, e-commerce, or corporate in-house environment, but strong digital production experience from other industries will be considered. You’re comfortable with structure, process, and working within established brand systems, even when things aren’t perfect.
You must be fluent in Figma—it’s where the bulk of the work happens. You should be confident working in complex files, handling layout updates, and producing final assets. You’ll also rely heavily on Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, for image production, resizing, cropping, and basic retouching. Motion work is minimal; at most, you may swap out a GIF or image based on business feedback rather than build animations from scratch.
To thrive here, you are detail-obsessed, organized, and comfortable managing multiple requests and deadlines. You respond well to feedback, can pivot quickly, and maintain accuracy under pressure. You appreciate being part of a larger digital ecosystem and understand how your work connects to site performance, email engagement, and overall brand consistency.
The hiring team is moving quickly and interviewing as soon as qualified portfolios are identified. If you’re a seasoned digital production designer who knows Figma inside and out and is ready to plug into a busy in-house team, we want to see your work.
