- Covet By Christos (CBC) is a fast-growing curated live shopping business focused on luxury fashion, accessories, and unique finds. Our community shops with us via Instagram Live and our Shopify-based site, where we showcase products in real time.
- We are looking for a junior to mid level Brand and Content Designer who can turn ideas into clear, on-brand visuals and short copy across social, email, and SMS.
About the Role
- You will take our product drops, live shows, and promotions and turn them into social content, simple email layouts, and graphics, primarily in Canva.
- This is a part-time, 1099, remote role. It is a good fit for someone who is already comfortable in Canva and social content creation, and wants to grow their experience with a luxury and live commerce brand.
- You should be comfortable working on both design and words, including short copy for posts, subject lines, captions, and SMS.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Content and Campaign Creative
- Design on-brand graphics in Canva for:
- Instagram posts, Stories, and Reels covers
- Show announcements, vendor spotlights, product drops, and promotions
- Create cohesive content sets for specific campaigns (for example live event series or collection launches)
- Adapt and rework existing art (vendor imagery, logos, product photos) into CBC-branded assets
Email and SMS Creative
- Design simple email visuals in Canva (or directly in the email tool if applicable)
- Write short, clear copy for:
- Subject lines and preheaders
- Headlines, body copy, and calls to action
- SMS blasts and reminders for shows, drops, and promotions
- Make sure email and SMS creative is easy to read on mobile and focused on driving clicks and sales
Templates, Systems, and Brand Consistency
- Build reusable Canva templates (social tiles, story frames, headers, email sections) that other team members can update
- Maintain consistency with CBC fonts, colors, tone, and layout standards
- Organize design files and templates so they are easy to find and re-use
- Collaboration and Iteration
- Work with marketing, show programming, and leadership to turn briefs into visuals and copy
- Revise work based on feedback and performance data
- Suggest new content formats and visual ideas to highlight products and live show moments
QUALIFICATIONS
Must Haves
- 1 to 4 years of experience in graphic design, social media content creation, or a similar role (agency, in house, or freelance)
- Strong skills in Canva, with the ability to build from scratch and improve existing templates
- Experience creating social content for Instagram (portfolio or examples required)
- Comfortable writing short brand aligned copy for posts, captions, email, and SMS
- Solid understanding of layout, hierarchy, typography, and basic design principles
- Ability to manage multiple small projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and openness to feedback and iteration
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for email or SMS platforms (for example Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Attentive, Postscript)
- Basic understanding of social media performance best practices (hooks, clarity in small spaces, mobile first design)
- Experience in fashion, luxury, resale, or live shopping
- Basic familiarity with simple video editing for Reels or TikTok
- Experience with other tools such as Figma or Adobe Creative Cloud
