One of our consumer goods and electronics clients is looking for a freelance Presentation Deck Designer to design and refine an investor-facing pitch deck.
This freelance Presentation Designer will focus on translating content, data, and visual assets into a clear, compelling, and visually polished narrative that supports fundraising efforts.
The freelance Presentation Designer must be highly proficient in Canva, understands what investors expect from pitch decks, and can move quickly in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
– Design and refine an investor pitch deck using Canva
– Apply consistent visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and branding throughout the deck
– Incorporate 3D renderings, product visuals, charts, and diagrams into cohesive slides
– Elevate existing content while maintaining clarity and simplicity for investor audiences
– Collaborate with internal stakeholders to iterate quickly based on feedback
– Prepare final, well-organized Canva files for handoff and ongoing use
Ideal Freelance Presentation Designer Candidates Will Have
– Proven experience designing investor pitch decks or fundraising presentations
– High level of proficiency in Canva (required)
– Strong portfolio demonstrating presentation design and storytelling
– Understanding of investor expectations, slide pacing, and narrative flow
– Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
– Strong communication skills and responsiveness
Nice to Have
– Experience working with startups or early-stage consumer brands
– Familiarity with hardware, consumer products, or physical goods
– Experience collaborating with designers or incorporating 3D assets
Deliverables
– A fully designed, investor-ready pitch deck in Canva
– Editable Canva files organized for future updates
