Reach Detroit is searching for a creative, detail-driven, and platform-obsessed Social Media Coordinator to support channel growth through thoughtful execution of our social strategies.
As a Social Media Coordinator, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our internal team to create social media content for brands and businesses across various industries.
About You:
You’re equal parts creative and strategic. You live in the social space and understand what makes content click. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, feel at home on and behind the camera, and can design a high-impact, aesthetically pleasing Instagram grid in no time.
What you’ll be doing:
◦ Assist, collaborate and develop concepts and content calendars for clients within the Reach Detroit client portfolio
◦ Create high-performing content for both organic and paid channels, with strong instincts for hooks, pacing, aesthetics, and platform-first storytelling
◦ Participate in team and client content shoot days, ensuring high-quality content
◦ Partner with relevant team members and clients to support campaigns, creative needs, and strategy-testing
You’ll succeed in this role if you have:
◦ 1-2+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content strategy
◦ Demonstrated success executing social strategies and contributing to channel growth
◦ Strong experience producing and editing short-form social video content
◦ Comfort with social analytics, insights, and performance reporting
◦ Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Meta tools, and emerging platforms
◦ Excellent communication, organization and multitasking skills
◦ A curiosity-driven mindset with a passion for testing, iterating, and pushing creative boundaries
◦ A strong attention to detail
