Part-Time Social Media Manager (with Growth Opportunity) - Job Description
About Tuli LodgeTuli Lodge is a social sauna and cold plunge experience based in Seattle, built around community, wellness, and fire & ice energy. We’re a fast-growing startup with a strong point of view, a highly engaged audience, and big plans ahead.
We’re looking for a highly capable, chronically-online social media manager to own our day-to-day social presence, and potentially grow into a larger marketing role over time. This role will be directly reporting to the founder & CEO.
The Role (What You’ll Actually Do)This role is social-first. If you love managing accounts, posting consistently, tracking performance, and staying on top of trends, you’ll thrive here.
Core Responsibilities - Create and publish:
- 3-5 Instagram posts per week
- 1-2 Instagram videos per week
- 1-3 TikTok videos per week
- Manage scheduling and publishing across platforms
- Manage our Creator in Residence Program
- Collaborate closely with the Founder and a Designer on content direction
- Write captions aligned with brand voice and guidelines
- Respond to DMs and comments within 48 hours
- Track content performance and iterate based on what’s working
- Coordinate with influencers and content creators:
- Outreach & relationship-building
- Tracking posts, timelines, and deliverables
Expectations & Logistics - 10-20 hours per week
- $22-$25/hour, depending on experience
- Performance-based upside as demand and revenue grow
- This is a part-time employee role (not a contractor)
- We will expect you to hit deadlines, communicate clearly, and work agreed-upon hours
- Ability to be in Seattle at least one week per month (travel not covered)
Who You Are (Must-Haves) - 1+ year of experience in social media marketing (brand, creator, agency, or platform)
- Exceptionally organized and deadline-driven
- Strong written communication and grammar
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
- Chronically online and deeply aware of platform trends
- Able to follow brand guidelines while bringing creative ideas
- Confident using Canva and video editing tools
- Understands how algorithms evolve and how to adapt content accordingly
- Uses AI as a tool, not a crutch
- Open to feedback and proactive with ideas
- Seattle-based and able to visit Tuli regularly
Nice-to-Haves (Not Required) - Photography or videography skills
- Graphic design experience in Illustrator (beyond templates)
- Influencer management experience
- Customer support or community management background
- Copywriting for email marketing
- Growth marketing, SEO, or Google Ads experience
- Experience in wellness, hospitality, or lifestyle brands
Growth OpportunitiesThis role is intentionally scoped as part-time and social-focused.
If the right person joins – especially someone with broader marketing skills – there is clear potential to grow into a larger or full-time marketing role as the company scales.
