Position OverviewWe are seeking a full-time Video Editor who brings sharp creative instincts, clean technical execution, and a deep passion for social-first content. You will work across Trove’s global tourism clients to create ads, short-form videos, campaign cuts, reels, travel storytelling pieces, and more. This role is ideal for someone who loves editing, is deeply plugged into current social trends, and brings a “nerdy creative” energy to every project.
Key Responsibilities- Edit high-quality video content including ads, social media assets, reels, short-form campaigns, sizzle reels, and destination storytelling pieces.
- Work in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve with excellent speed, precision, and creative flair.
- Apply strong color correction and color grading techniques to elevate footage across diverse environments.
- Produce dynamic edits that align with current social-media video trends, pacing, transitions, and storytelling styles.
- Create light motion graphics or basic animation when needed (lower thirds, titles, simple transitions).
- Collaborate closely with Trove’s Creative Director, Digital Director, and project teams to bring campaign ideas to life.
- Adapt multiple versions of content for use across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Connected TV, and digital out-of-home screens.
- Manage footage, organize project files, and maintain clean workflows across multiple concurrent projects.
- Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions and campaign concept development.
- Support on-site content capture, as needed (optional but valued).
Qualifications- 2–4+ years of experience in an agency, production company, or equivalent freelance/brand experience.
- Expert proficiency in Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong creative instincts and storytelling skills across short-form and ad-focused content.
- Demonstrated understanding of current social media editing styles and trends.
- Strong color correction ability.
- Basic animation / motion graphics experience (After Effects a plus).
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with tight turnarounds.
- Interest in world travel, global culture, and destination storytelling.
- Enthusiastic, collaborative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Basic graphic design and layout ability (e.g., social graphics, thumbnails, simple campaign layouts).
- Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or Canva.
