Meta Ads Specialist (Facebook/Instagram) – Part-Time

The Fictional Tribune creates custom, front-page newspaper stories as personalized gifts for birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, and memorials. Each story is written by a former Los Angeles Times journalist. We are growing fast and want to expand our reach using Meta ads.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Meta Ads Specialist who knows how to build, run, and optimize Facebook & Instagram campaigns. This is a great part-time role for someone who has experience with Meta Business Manager and can help us get more followers, traffic, and $75 holiday gift orders through paid ads on Facebook.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns
- Set up audiences, tracking, pixels, and budgets
- Build ad creative (simple images + captions; we provide assets)
- Test audiences and creatives to find top performers
- Optimize campaigns for conversions (website orders)
- Report weekly performance (results, cost per click, spend)
- Suggest new ad ideas, content, and growth strategies
Requirements:
- Experience running Meta ads (Facebook & Instagram)
- Proficiency with Meta Business Manager and Ads Manager
- Ability to create simple ad copy and select effective images
- Understanding of ROAS, CPC, CPM, and conversion tracking
- Reliable, organized, and responsive
- Ability to work independently
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience with e-commerce or gift-based products
- Experience setting up retargeting audiences
- Experience with conversion tracking and Meta Pixel
- Creative eye for simple, clean social-media content
Hours & Schedule:
- 10 hours per week to start
- Flexible schedule, 100% remote
- Occasional in-person meeting helpful but not required
