About Us
ModelTrainStuff.com is a leading online retailer in the model train and hobby industry. We are looking for a skilled E-Commerce Merchandiser with strong graphic design expertise to help maintain and optimize our website’s homepage and product displays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update and optimize homepage content (banners, featured products, promotions).
- Design high-quality visuals for the website, including banners, product highlights, and promotional graphics.
- Ensure website content remains fresh, engaging, and optimized for sales.
- Coordinate with marketing and e-commerce teams to align updates with promotions and campaigns.
- Use BigCommerce (or similar platforms) to make updates and manage merchandising.
- Monitor website engagement and adjust content placement for maximum effectiveness.
What We’re Looking For:
- Model train enthusiast with solid knowledge of the hobby.
- Experience with e-commerce merchandising (BigCommerce preferred, Shopify preferred).
- Strong graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar).
- Understanding of website optimization, digital marketing, and conversion-focused design.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated, able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics or similar) is a plus.
