Our client, a well known beauty brand, is currently seeking a well rounded Designer with an emphasis on visual merchandising in the beauty space along with some production and digital experience to join their team.
This opportunity starts as soon as possible after interview and is onsite in NYC (FiDi area) Monday - Thursday with Fridays being remote. This role is 40hrs/week for a 1-2 months to start with strong potential to extend based on performance and business need. Workstation will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Join a small creative team to assist with a wide range of work including print, in-store, direct mail, social/digital, email, and visual merchandising
- work with brand guidelines to create digital assets for web and social
- Work on detailed file building for global Visual Merchandising Units. Own the project from the design to the final production-ready files
- Bring fresh ideas and approaches to design and have excellent typographic skills with great attention to detail
- Work cross-functionally with digital, social and product teams to ideate, execute and optimize best-in-class creative
- Develop effective, on-brand creative assets that are digital/mobile first that align with the consumer journey
- Ensure consistency in designs and content across all company platforms
Requirements
- 3+ years experience working in digital graphic design, marketing, branding and with beauty experience
- Excellent skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro
- Well-versed in the digital world and ability to concept with team to bring new ideas to the table
- Experience with social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, youtube, Pinterest, Facebook etc.
- Visual Merchandising experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage time well, and consistently hit deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, be a team player
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
