Job Description – Part-Time Freelance Technical Designer (Menswear)

Our client is seeking a skilled Technical Designer to join their team on a part-time freelance basis, specializing in menswear. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a luxury or premium product development background who can collaborate with overseas factories in Europe and Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with overseas factories to ensure fit, construction, and quality meet brand standards.
- Provide pattern corrections (patternmaking experience is a plus).
- Oversee technical aspects of menswear, focusing on cut & sew knits, denim, and wovens.
- Ensure accuracy in technical packs, grading, and sample reviews.
- Identify and resolve any production and development issues.
Key Qualifications
- 4-10 years of experience in technical design for menswear.
- Strong expertise in pattern correction and garment construction.
- Extensive experience working with factories in Europe and Asia.
- Background in luxury or premium product development.
- Highly detail-oriented and quality-driven.
- Immediate availability to start.
