Presentation Designer

Our client, a large marketing and advertising agency in NYC, is looking for a freelance Presentation Designer with experience in PowerPoint for a 1-month contract. This position will require the creation of visually compelling and impactful presentations and will work closely with internal teams to design and enhance PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate key messages, brand identity, and data-driven insights. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for design, strong storytelling abilities, and extensive experience with PowerPoint. You will be responsible for transforming complex information into clear, engaging, and visually appealing slides while maintaining brand consistency and meeting tight deadlines.

• This is a hybrid 1-month contract and requires 3-days/week onsite in Downtown Manhattan. Some remote weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Transform complex ideas, data, and concepts into visually compelling slides.
• Ensure brand consistency by adhering to company style guidelines, templates, and best practices.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand objectives and create presentations that effectively communicate key messages.
• Incorporate animations, transitions, and multimedia elements to enhance engagement when appropriate.
• Edit and refine existing presentations to improve clarity, aesthetics, and effectiveness.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Stay updated on design trends, PowerPoint features, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Presentation Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of PowerPoint presentations.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and familiarity with other presentation tools (Keynote, Google Slides).
• Strong graphic design skills with knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) preferred.
• Excellent visual storytelling and data visualization skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce polished, high-quality designs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
