Our client is a leading food manufacturer currently seeking an interim Brand Designer to cover a 5 month maternity leave. Role would last 5 months and is remote. Must be able to work EST (east coast) hours.

Brand Design Lead Role
We are currently looking to bring on a Brand Designer to support our team over the next few months as we navigate internal team transitions. This design role is needed to cover mat leave.
As the Contract Brand Designer, you will support the development of compelling brand touchpoints and upcoming campaign executions that reinforce our distinctive brand aesthetic and drive visual consistency across all executions. You will help the team set up campaign design systems and execute showstopping brand assets that build the brand, earn attention, and generate buzz. Work will span across digital, print and physical executions—all while ensuring we are creating a cohesive and captivating brand experience.
Our team is based in NYC, however the person who fills this role can be anywhere in the U.S, working EST hours.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in graphic design and/or art direction, with experience in branding and visual storytelling.
- Oversee the end-to-end design process, ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Ability to work in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma to design and QA unique assets.
- Strong working knowledge of the creative process for traditional and digital media.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, across different business functions.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate with teammates and cross functional partners.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development of brand campaigns through art direction, design strategy, and asset creation.
- Create standout visuals across channels, in partnership with brand managers, copywriters and content strategists.
- Develop assets to support experiential campaigns, including brand photo/video shoots, print collateral, and other visual brand assets (e.g. unboxing executions, event collateral such as signage or sampling cards, etc.).
- Develop assets to support digital campaigns, including landing pages and emails.
- Develop and maintain visual guidelines, design systems, and templates that ensure consistency across all campaign touchpoints.
