Paramount Digital is looking for a Project Manager to assist in delivering on roadmap initiatives for our team that governs the Sports and News OTT Apps as well as News Mobile Apps..

We seek a natural leader who can gain the trust of the team and will partner with leadership to deliver on the strategic vision and drive the team to success.

Key responsibilities:

Operations: Own project team agile ceremonies and meetings such as standup, sprint planning, backlog grooming, stakeholder meetings, etc
Governance & Accountability: Ensure all team members and stakeholders adhere to defined roles and responsibilities within our organizational workflow framework, and foster a culture of accountability.
General Oversight: Maintain project status oversight for all initiatives within the OTT / App teams across all stages of the SDLC.
Project Evangelist: Partner with the project champion/product owner to advocate and evangelize tasks and project goals.
Project Tracking: Support Manager in creation and maintenance of detailed project timelines with clear phases, milestones, and deliverables. Track project status, identify risk, and ensure stakeholder alignment. Utilize project management tools, such as jira, confluence, and product plan etc, to streamline communication, collaboration, and task management across all team members.
Documentation: Establish and maintain a comprehensive project documentation repository adhering to defined governance standards, encompassing key artifacts such as product requirements, technical specifications, design files, and project timelines.
Reporting and communications: Responsible for squad-level metrics (such as velocity, and sprint planning) and reporting that data out at regular cadences. This should include detail on project status as well as the team’s operating metrics.
Resource allocations: Efficiently manage engineering and design resources to meet delivery expectations and optimize team output.
Critical thinking & Problem solving: Drive positive outcomes and forward progress by navigating interdependencies, analyzing risk, and facilitating solutions.
Leadership: Act as liaison between PMO, engineering, product, and executive stakeholders to build strategic partnerships and provide leadership perspective that drives decisions in ambiguous or difficult situations to avoid miscommunication and delays.

Requirements

2+ years of experience as a project/program manager
Knowledge and execution of agile development methodologies and project management principles.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in project planning tools (like the Atlassian suite) which facilitate tracking for large projects, but also enough flexibility to support groups that do not work within those toolsets.

You may also have

Past experience in a large-scale internet or technology-based organization, media company, or agency.
PMP certification or similar program/project management certification.
