ResponsibilitiesIn accordance with established Agency policy and procedures the incumbent: (A) Receives cash and cheques and temporary receipt vouchers from loan clients and from Loan Officers (LO) for clients' loan repayments and fees and issues covering receipt vouchers. (B) Maintains a manual and electronic cash receipt book and records all payments and receipts for future reference. Maintains the branch bank balances to secure liquidity to cover the disbursement cheques and to take necessary action in case of insufficient funds. (C) At close of business, tallies and reconciles cash on-hand with daily receipt vouchers. responsible for shortfalls or discrepancies in his/her till, which should be reported to his/her supervisor. (D) On a daily basis, deposits all cash received in the branch office in its bank accounts. (E) Follows up with banks on any cleared or returned cheques, drafts memos to local banks under the signature of his/her supervisor and follows up on some banking issues of mutual interests. (E) Maintains up-to-date archiving and log register of all loan applications' documents.
