Job Description
OWYN is seeking a Graphic Designer to join us on a contract basis for an average of 20-30 hours per week. The ideal candidate is a highly creative and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of brand and technical design work. You will play a critical role in bringing the OWYN brand to life across various digital and print touchpoints, creating engaging visuals that resonate with our audience and elevate our brand presence.
Responsibilities:
- Brand Guidelines Adherence: Collaborate with the creative and marketing team to uphold and apply brand guidelines, ensuring all materials reflect a consistent and unified brand identity
- Design Production: Translate creative briefs into visually compelling digital and print collateral, including social media graphics and designs, email marketing assets, merchandise, and web-specific content that aligns with brand guidelines
- Social Media Graphics: Create visually engaging social media assets, including static and video designs, tailored for various platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Digital Assets: Develop banner ads, website assets, and promotional graphics
- Basic Video Editing: Edit video content for use across digital platforms.
- Assist with updates to existing creative assets, maintaining consistency, quality, and file organization
- Prepare final design files for production, ensuring they are high-quality and meet technical requirements for various media formats
- Keep designs fresh and relevant by staying informed on current design trends, tools, and industry best practices
- Manage multiple design projects with varying deadlines, ensuring timely delivery
- Communicate progress and feedback effectively with team leads and stakeholders
- Email Marketing Expertise: Ability to transform briefs into email designs
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong portfolio showcasing design skills across digital, social media
- Strong understanding of brand guidelines, including typography, color theory, and layout principles
- Proven success interpreting briefs and delivering creative solutions that align with project goals
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools for basic video editing is required, familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus
- Experience in Klaviyo and email design is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organization
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
- Availability for calls, digital communication, and meetings during standard work hours of 10-6 EST
- Experience in CPG, health/wellness, or food/beverage brands is a plus
