Cella is seeking a
Junior Graphic Designer with a passion for beauty and fashion for a contract opportunity in New York City!
This role offers the opportunity to work both autonomously and collaboratively, delivering high-quality design solutions that align with brand objectives. If you're a creative thinker with a strong design background and a keen eye for detail, this is your chance to contribute to exciting brand projects for top beauty brands.
This is a contract opportunity through the end of March 2025, and requires 3 days onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the full product launch cycle, from initial concept to go-to-market campaigns.
- Participate in brand equity studies, brainstorming sessions, and creating renderings to build activation style guides and asset packs.
- Help establish and implement the creative vision for portfolio brands, from packaging concepts to local activations.
- Ensure the consistency and integrity of the brand identity across all projects.
- Collaborate cross-functionally while maintaining enthusiasm for design, branding, image creation, and the beauty/hair industry.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- College degree (BFA, BA, or AAS) in visual arts or related creative fields preferred; high school diploma required.
- 3+ years of experience in the creative or related fields, preferably in the beauty industry.
- Proven experience in developing creative designs for global brands.
- Ability to create consistent and comprehensive brand expressions across multiple platforms.
- Familiarity with print, digital, and display design is a plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (MAC-based).
- Strong craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and expand skills in creative processes, printing, packaging production, and photoshoots.
- Knowledge of the fashion and beauty industries is preferred.
- Previous experience creating assets for packaging, e-commerce, and print.
