*Job Summary*
Social Media Coordinator for a health-related social issue documentary outreach campaign. Looking for creative, can-do candidate who brings compassion, a positive outlook, and social awareness to their work. Attention to detail a must.
*Duties*
- Develop and execute social media marketing strategies across various platforms to increase overall brand awareness and engagement.
- Create compelling content, including graphics, short videos, and written posts, tailored to each platform's audience.
- Manage daily social media activities in coordination with film producer and impact campaign manager.
- Collaborate with the public relations team to align social media campaigns with overall marketing efforts.
- Utilize programs like Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator, or Canva for designing visually appealing graphics that resonate with our target audience.
- Apply social media metrics and SEO skills for brand and campaign peak performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media management and advertising.
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
*Experience*
- Proven experience in social media management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong skills in content creation, photography, video, and graphic design are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with advertising techniques on social media platforms is a plus.
- A background in documentary film or nonprofit/NGO public relations or communications will be advantageous.
