This is a Freelance role for Saturdays/Sundays.

Your responsibilities:

Assist in creating and ideating on social strategy for live coverage of marquee soccer games and events
Write engaging social copy for Instagram/TikTok/YouTube
Use pre-made graphics templates to create static graphics for social feeds
Publish content to IG/TikTok/YouTube accounts on weeknights and weekends
Monitor developing soccer storylines in MLS as well as European soccer leagues, NWSL, and US National Teams as they unfold in real time
Coordinate with video editors to ensure timely and engaging coverage of key soccer stories

Your experience:

Experience writing copy in a live sports/sports media coverage setting
Fluent in publishing content on Instagram/TikTok/YouTube
Basic understanding of video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro
Ability to think on your feet and cover soccer storylines as they unfold in real time
A love and passion for the game of soccer
