Service In | Part-time or Full-time | $20–25/hour
About Service In
We know a service business sounds boring, and if you work in social media or events, it probably isn’t the first industry that comes to mind. But there’s a lot going on behind the scenes here!
Service In is a commercial cleaning and painting company. We launched less than two years ago, and in that time we’ve grown to serve 650+ multifamily, commercial, and construction clients across North Carolina, with South Florida launching in January. We handle 250+ jobs a day and clean 2 million sq ft every night. We also built all of our internal and client software in-house, from scratch.
We’re hiring our first Social Media and Events Coordinator to run our social media, shape our brand, and manage our corporate sponsorships and events.
We’ll be honest... we don’t know much about social media or marketing. So we’re looking for someone who wants a lot of freedom to build this the way they think it should be done.
What You’ll Do
The job comes down to two things: social media and events.
Social media
- Run our accounts on LinkedIn, Instagram, and wherever else makes sense
- Plan and create content. Think job sites, crews, before-and-afters, team wins, and client events
- Get out in the field to take photos and video (there’s a lot to work with when we’re doing 250+ jobs a day)
- Keep our look and voice consistent across everything we post
- Track what’s working and tell us what isn’t
Events and sponsorships
- Manage our memberships with trade associations like NAA, TAA, GCAA, WAA, and IFMA. We’re executive sponsors of many of them.
- Plan our presence at association events. That means registration, booth setup, materials, giveaways, and getting the right people from our team there.
- Handle sponsorship requests from clients. They ask us to support their conferences and events all the time. You’ll track what we’ve committed to and make sure we deliver.
- Keep a calendar of everything coming up so nothing sneaks up on us.
As we grow, so does this role. If you show us what marketing can do for Service In, we will give you a lot of growth opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
- You’ve run social media for a business, club, or brand, not just your own accounts.
- You’re organized. You can juggle a few events and deadlines at once without dropping anything.
- You take initiative. If something needs to get done, you figure it out.
- You have a good eye for design. Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools are a plus.
- You’re comfortable talking to people, whether that’s clients on a call or a room full of property managers at an event.
- You can travel within North Carolina for events, with an occasional evening.
- It's a bonus if you know anything about multifamily, property management, or facility services (not required)
