About ARDANT
ARDANT is a fast-growing jewelry brand, designed in LA, making pieces you can actually live in. Our hero product, the Stay Close Hoop, is a backless hoop built for all-day, all-night comfort.
We've served 200,000+ customers across the US, Canada, the UK, Australia and Europe, with 7,000+ five-star reviews. We call them our Ardant Muses. They wear jewelry for no one but themselves.
The role
We're hiring a Social Media & Content Lead in Los Angeles to set the vision for how ARDANT shows up on social, and to help create the content that brings it to life.
A majority of this role is strategy: you own the channels, the calendar, the trends and the results. The other is creation: one to two days a week behind and in front of the camera. Our video editors take your footage from there, so your time goes to ideas and filming, not editing.
This is a full-time, freelance, remote role. Being in LA means you can film around the city and meet creators in person.
We're not looking for polished brand films. We're looking for content our Muse saves, shares and comes back for.
What you'll do
Social strategy and channel management
- Set the vision for ARDANT's social presence: what each channel is for, who it should reach, and how our story is told
- Own organic strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook and YouTube Shorts, and test new platforms when they make sense
- Build content pillars and recurring series that keep our Muse coming back
- Plan the content calendar two weeks ahead, mixing evergreen content, launches and trends
- Track trends daily and get trend content live the same day when it fits the brand
- Brief our video editors and designers, and review everything before it goes out
- Turn the best creator and UGC content into organic posts
- Work with Marketing on launches, promos and brand moments
- Reply to comments and DMs within 24 hours
- Report weekly on what worked, what didn't and what you're changing
Content creation (1–2 filming days a week)
- Film short-form video in batches: try-ons, ear stacks, GRWM, styling, product close-ups, behind-the-scenes
- Style and shoot jewelry so it looks as good on screen as it does in person (we send you samples and new launches)
- Show up on camera as a regular face of ARDANT
- Hand footage to our editors with clear notes on the hook, pacing and story
- Write hooks and captions in ARDANT's voice: warm, plainspoken, never pushy
Your first 90 days
- Learn our products, our Muse and our brand system inside out
- Audit our channels and set a clear plan for each one
- Launch recurring content series and post consistently to plan
- Grow reach, saves, shares and followers month over month
- Find the formats that reliably beat our average
What we're looking for
- 3–5 years running organic social for a DTC or consumer brand, setting the strategy and making the content yourself
- A clear vision for brand storytelling. You understand our Muse and can make content she sees herself in
- A strong aesthetic eye. You notice when something feels off visually and can say why
- Jewelry knowledge: metals, finishes, stacking, sizing, and how to make a small piece look desirable on camera
- Trend fluency. You're on TikTok and Instagram every day and know which trends fit a brand and which don't
- You know what performs. You read the numbers and change what you make because of them
- Comfortable and natural on camera
- Confident filming short-form video; basic editing is a plus
- Proof of results: accounts you grew and numbers you moved
- Excellent writing, with a natural feel for how our audience talks online
- Based in the Los Angeles area
Nice to have
- You've had a post go viral
- Experience at a jewelry, beauty, fashion or accessories brand
- A creator presence of your own
- Experience working with creators or UGC programs
- You use AI tools to work faster
This role isn't for you if
- Your strongest work is long-form brand films
- You'd rather manage an agency than make the content yourself
- Jewelry and personal style don’t excite you
How to apply
Apply on LinkedIn and include:
- A link to a 1-minute video introducing yourself (Loom, Google Drive, TikTok or Instagram). Tell us who you are, why ARDANT, and show us how you come across on camera. Applications without a video won't be considered.
- Your portfolio, or links to accounts you've run or created for
- Three posts you made and how they performed
- One sentence: what do most brands get wrong when they post jewelry on social?
You can also email everything to people@theardant.com.
ARDANT is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and make hiring decisions based on skills, experience and fit for the role.
